Qualifications
Raplyn Consulting’s services are provided by one or more professional parliamentarians, accredited through the National Association of Parliamentarians and/or the American Institute of Parliamentarians. Members of both organizations are bound by the NAP and AIP Joint Code of Ethics for Parliamentarians. This code prescribes the highest level of professionalism and ethical business practice.
In most cases, services are provided directly by Dan Lynch, founder and sole proprietor of Raplyn Consulting. However, in some cases, services are provided via another fully qualified professional acting under subcontract. In all cases, the client receives the same high level of professional service.
Dan Lynch, PRP
Dan Lynch is a Professional Registered Parliamentarian, accredited by the National Association of Parliamentarians as an expert in Robert’s Rules of Order and parliamentary procedure. He is also a member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians.
Dan is currently president of the Grand River Unit of NAP and is also president of the Ontario Association of Parliamentarians. He has belonged to a number of other democratic member-controlled organizations over the years, frequently volunteering to serve as a director or officer. He has significant experience in the co-operative sector.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Waterloo, and worked for several years as a computer software professional before founding Raplyn Consulting. He is a volunteer leader with the 21st Waterloo Scout Troop.
