Welcome to Parliamentary Blog

Welcome to Parliamentary Blog, by Dan Lynch. My goal for this blog is to share my knowledge of parliamentary procedure and Robert’s Rules of Order with the general Internet public, and thereby promote my services as a parliamentarian for hire. I will be posting about parliamentary topics that will be of interest to people who are members, committee members, directors, or officers of voluntary societies, such as clubs, associations, co-operatives, churches, not-for-profit organizations, and corporations.

Everyone is invited to post comments in reply to my blog entries, and to send me messages via e-mail at parliamentary@dglynch.com. I will base some of my future posts on the parliamentary situations described in the comments and messages I receive from readers, so that my blog remains grounded in the type of questions that people are interested in learning about. I will also draw this sort of material from the parliamentary@dglynch.com. There are a number of relevant links in the sidebar on my main page; if you would like to suggest another link that would be appropriate, please feel free to do so.
